Ingredients
8 back bacon rashers
4 eggs
40g finely grated cheese
Try adding other ingredients and making this dish your own. Let us know your results!
How to make it:
1. Wrap 2 slices of thick bacon rashers per pot inside the ramekin.
2. Cook in the oven until the bacon starts to slightly crisp up
3. Crack the egg inside the bacon ‘cup’
4. Place the ramekins back in the oven for 15 minutes (when done, if you shake the ramekins the egg should not wobble at all)
5. When the egg is cooked, sprinkle the cheese on top of the egg pot and put back in the oven for a couple of minutes until the cheese is melted
Tips and Ideas
Serve with a fresh salad or vegetable stir-fry.
A few sweet potato fries (see the recipe) are nice on the side too.
